Our repeat prescription service enables you to dial into the practice 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing an easy to use platform to order your repeat prescriptions without the need to contact reception.

Ordering prescriptions couldn’t be easier. Dial 01429 800748 and selects the “repeat prescription” option. After logging in using a unique PIN number, you will hear a menu offering your available prescriptions. Once you have selected their required prescription, the service processes the request

Order a repeat prescription online

You can use one of the following apps to order your prescriptions online:

If you do not have an account to order online you can create one using the NHS App link above. 

Nominating a pharmacy

When you request a prescription online, you can have your prescription sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choice. This is called a nomination.

You can nominate a high street pharmacy by using the NHS App or logging in to the NHS website using a web browser. A high street pharmacy is where you collect your medicines in person. They may also deliver to your home. You can find out more by clicking here.

All pharmacies provide the following services:

  • dispensing of NHS prescriptions
  • access to the repeat prescription service (with agreement from your GP)
  • an emergency supply of medicine, subject to the decision of the pharmacist (you may need to pay for an emergency supply)
  • non-prescription medicines like paracetamol
  • disposal of unwanted or out-of-date medicines
  • advice on treating minor health concerns and healthy living
